iFlipbook works without an account. Your drawings, characters, and postcards live on your device. The only things that leave it are a message you choose to send us, and anonymous daily usage counts. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't embed cross-app tracking.
What stays on your device
Your flipbooks, frames, drawings, characters, postcards, palettes, and settings are stored in the app's own storage on your device. We have no copy of them. Deleting the app deletes them, so export anything you want to keep. Photos you pick to trace stay on the device; the app sees only the photo you choose.

About the anonymous ID. When you first launch the app it generates a random identifier and stores it in the device keychain. It isn't your Apple Account, your name, or your device's advertising identifier, and it isn't linked to your identity. It exists so replies to your feedback come back to you, and so usage counts aren't double-counted. We do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
No public content
iFlipbook 3.0 has no gallery, feed, or other place where one person's work is shown to others. Nothing you draw is published by the app. If you published to the gallery in an earlier version and want those posts removed, write to us and we'll delete them.
What we never collect
- No account, name, email address, phone number, or date of birth
- No location, contacts, calendar, or photo library scanning
- No advertising identifier, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs
- No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites
Who processes data for us
- Apple — CloudKit stores the daily usage counts; the App Store handles purchases.
- Cloudflare — runs the small proxy server that feedback messages pass through.
These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.
How long things are kept
- Feedback messages — kept while the conversation is useful, then removed.
- Usage counts — aggregate daily counts, kept to understand which features people actually use.
Deleting your data
- Feedback messages — email us and we'll delete your thread.
- Earlier gallery posts — email us and we'll delete them.
- Everything on the device — deleting the app removes your work and the anonymous ID.
If you'd like us to confirm what's associated with your anonymous ID, or to erase it, write to us and we'll take care of it.
Children
iFlipbook is for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the feedback box, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we'll update this page and its effective date, and describe the change in the app's release notes.
